New Year, Fresh Start
Welcome to 2025! One of my favorite times on the farm is when we clean up the fields in the fall. It feels like we can erase all of the troubles and struggles of the past season and start fresh again in the spring. This is particularly true of last year. When we added the second farm, we added a level of complexity that we weren’t quite ready for, and as a result, things were a bit overwhelming.
So, first off… THANK YOU all for hanging in there with us! We ended up having a great year thanks to all of your support and our amazing team of employees.
And now to our fresh start. The biggest change is that Bonnie has resigned from her full-time position as a healthcare consultant and will be supporting all the exciting things going on at the farms. This will be a HUGE change for her, and if you want to follow along, she will be blogging and journaling her adventures on our social media platforms. Her support along with a few other changes in how we manage the farms will hopefully allow us to serve more customers, streamline our operations, and not be quite so tired as we go through the seasons.

Additional Information
More information can also be found on our website www.blackberrybogfarm.com/csa
Each week we will include a printed recipe, as well as a list of the produce in your basket. We will also be producing a monthly newsletter, so you know what is happening on the farm, and what fruit and produce we are expecting.
We realize that some people may have allergies to certain foods. If this is the case, please drop us a line and we will do our best to modify your basket. We do not have the ability to personalize all of our baskets, so please limit requests to allergies only so that we may continue to offer this service that keeps our customers safe.
We look forward to sharing our farm with you this year,
Garden Starter Packs
We have a color-coded spreadsheet so we know what to plant when to assure we always have fresh produce available. To make it easier for you we are offering Garden Starter Packs again this year.
The starter packs will supply all the basic vegetables for your garden, at the appropriate time for planting in this area, spaced so you will have fresh veggies throughout the season. You still get to pick the varieties that you would like, and the really nice part is that we make sure we have everything to fill these orders before we put plants out in the plant yard, so you know you will get what you are expecting. (Good news for you Sungold Cherry Tomato fans!) Added bonus, because you are supporting the farm during the off season you also get a 10% discount.

A Welcoming Place and a Place to Learn
One of our goals for the farm is that people feel like they have a special place to visit and be part of nature and their food stream. As we work toward that goal we continue to add events on the farm. This season we will be adding a few new things, in addition to our standard offerings:
Bouquet Making
Build Your Own Baskets/Planters
Farm to Table Dinners
Farm Tours/Field Trips
Tea in the Gardens
Pumpkin Patch
Scottish Highland Day - to celebrate our cows (New)
Spring Celebration and Egg Hunt (New)
Sunflower Festive (New)
We have a few more ideas that we hope to be able to pull off this year, so keep an eye on our Events calendar and social media accounts.
